We’re proud to share that Brohn Homes’ Online Sales Consultant (OSC) team has earned a Silver Award at NAHB’s (National Association of Home Builders) The Nationals, one of the homebuilding industry’s most respected and competitive honors.

The Nationals recognizes excellence across sales, marketing, and customer engagement, with entries reviewed by a distinguished panel of industry leaders from across the country. To be recognized on a national stage alongside some of the best home builders and teams in the industry is an incredible achievement.

For us, this award represents more than performance metrics or conversion rates. It reflects something deeper: the care, consistency, and commitment our Online Sales team brings to every single interaction. And if you ask us, this recognition isn’t surprising.

Meet the Team Behind the First Impression

Our Online Sales Consultants are often the very first people our future homeowners and real estate partners speak with. Before someone walks into a model home, before they meet an onsite sales consultant, before they fall in love with a floorplan, they connect with this team.

Leading the group is Trista Nixon, our Lead Online Sales Consultant. Trista has been in the new construction industry since 2012 and has been with Brohn Homes for over two and a half years. She brings a rare combination of experience, systems knowledge, and personality to her role. She is deeply passionate about people and committed to doing things the right way, with excellence and heart. And if you catch her on a video call, don’t be surprised if she’s wearing a spider brooch. Her love for all things spooky is just one example of the one-of-a-kind personality that makes her memorable and helps customers feel instantly at ease.

Alongside her is Marilyn Maldonado, who joined Brohn Homes after serving as Lifestyle Director at our Harvest Ridge community. We already knew her sparkle, energy, and heart for people, so when she wanted to move into an OSC role, we were thrilled. Marilyn has been with Brohn as an Online Sales Consultant for over a year and a half. She brings charm, warmth, and a strong desire to help every person she speaks with. She is also a bit of an adventurer, always ready to try something new, whether that’s a creative outreach campaign or exploring fresh ways to connect with customers.

As Senior Vice President of Marketing, Melissa Galland shared:
