2025 has been quite a year, but honestly, we wouldn’t want it any other way. At Brohn Homes, one of our greatest joys is connecting with people. We don’t just build houses. At our core, “We are in the people business, and we build homes.” That belief influences everything we do: how we serve our customers, support our team members, and give back to our community. We’re truly proud to share that this commitment has also been recognized through the 2025 awards we were nominated for.
Brohn Homes Takes the Spotlight with 2025 Awards
Whether it’s an award for building, our employees, or our commitment to our community, being in the people business is a value we live by and try to embody every day.
Company Culture Lays the Foundation for Success
Brohn Homes prioritizes connection, celebration, and purpose with activities such as regular office karaoke, team appreciation events, and monthly volunteer initiatives. We were honored to be a finalist for the 2025 Ethics in Business Award by the Central Texas nonprofit Recognize Good. This nomination affirms our commitment to workplace fairness, respect, and integrity.
We focus on supporting our team members and equipping them with the tools they need to thrive. New hires frequently share that they’ve never encountered a company as hands-on, supportive, and genuinely caring as ours. This is because we cultivate a culture where helping each other is just what we do. From day one, employees feel the warmth of our team, experience real mentorship, and realize that Brohn is more than a workplace—it’s a family.
We’re deeply committed to both our culture and our passion for building. And when we combine that with giving back to the community, it’s a perfect blend that brings out the best of both worlds.

The Homebuilding Industry Recognizes Brohn Homes
This year, we were also honored to receive the Charitable Project of the Year award at the Home Builders Association of Greater Austin’s annual MAX Awards. This special recognition celebrates our team’s heartfelt volunteer work with Sammy’s House, a wonderful nonprofit dedicated to helping children with special needs and medical conditions. It truly was a team effort, with several volunteer trips to rebuild their bathrooms after a devastating flood, and every moment was so worthwhile.

In addition to receiving our volunteer project award, several employees were honored this year as finalists and winners at the MAX Awards, which recognize their dedication and hard work.
Bailey Hill, our Sales Consultant, won the MAX award for Rookie Onsite Salesperson of the Year. She had this to say about her experience on the field:

We love celebrating the successes of our Brohn family. Trista Nixon, our New Home Specialist, was nominated as a finalist for the Online Sales Professional of the Year MAX award. Here are a few words from our nominee:

Jackson Abney, our Construction Manager, was nominated as a finalist for the Construction Superintendent of the Year MAX award. You can truly see how much he enjoys creating people’s dream homes:

Finally, we’re excited to share that Angie Perrone, our dedicated Quality Assurance Specialist, has been honored as a finalist for the prestigious Warranty Service Professional of the Year MAX award.
Our dedication is reflected in the thoughtfully designed homes, energy-saving features, and affordable prices, as well as in fostering a positive and welcoming workplace environment.
Known as One of the Best Workplaces
Brohn Homes is among the best workplaces because we care about our employees and try to set them up for success. Whether through financial wellness resources, enhanced home-purchase programs that help employees become homeowners, or skill-development programs, we are dedicated to making Brohn Homes a place where people love to work, grow, and thrive. This year, that commitment is reflected in our ranking, which rose from #11 in 2024 to #7 in the Austin Business Journal’s (ABJ) Best Places to Work awards.
The reason we have the best workplace is the people who foster an incredible environment, led by our exceptional Human Resources Director, Lea Davis, who was awarded the Austin Business Journal’s HR Impact Award. From welcoming new members and championing our benefits to simply being there to listen, Lea consistently goes above and beyond her role.
Volunteerism sits at the heart of Brohn Homes and its people-first philosophy. In fact, every new team member is encouraged to participate in a volunteer event shortly after onboarding.
Giving Back Is a Fundamental Value
The Austin Chamber of Commerce presents the Austin Gives Award each year to recognize businesses that promote philanthropy by dedicating, encouraging, educating, and empowering efforts, whether through donations of time or money. This year, Brohn Homes was nominated for the Generous Business Award. Giving back is at the core of our company’s values. We regularly organize company-wide volunteer days and provide paid Volunteer Time Off (VTO), giving our team members the time and opportunity to serve causes close to home.
This year, we contributed 2,140+ volunteer hours to support various nonprofits. Whether through donations, serving food, building beds, helping animals, supporting families, or responding to community needs, we’re committed to giving our all.
Looking back on 2025, we’re truly grateful for all the recognition and the amazing year we’ve shared. From our award-winning projects and vibrant company culture to our ongoing efforts to give back, this has been a special year in which our core values have really come to life. We’re eager for what lies ahead and excited to continue making a meaningful difference in our community and the homebuilding industry.
